RANDOM NOTES

Sorry about posting so late today. We had a major ice and snow storm today and I just couldn't get the time to post until now. I want to thank any of you who bid on any of the Chance photos. I purposely did not post any news items after the announcement to keep it on top of the page so you all can see it. To update, it appears that Chance will go through a battery of tests at his regular vet on Monday then the results will be sent to LSU, then Chance will go there later in the week. Please keep Chance in your thoughts and prayers.

In PA, the Lehigh County Bunny Busters will hold a double show in Hamburg tomorrow at the Hamburg Field House. A new in the box Dell computer will be on the raffle table. The will be a show in Ohio on Sunday in Wapakoneta at the fair grounds.

My read mini satin Danté will be getting neutered on Monday, so please say a prayer that all goes well. That it for now. See ya Monday!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

A good friend needs your help. A young lady on the Rabbits Only Message Board recently fostered a rabbit that was abanonded by it's owner. The rabbit is in desparate need of advanced medical care. The rabbit has been named Chance by the young lady who is trying to save this rabbit. Please help by bidding on 8x10 photos of Chance on Ebay.

Every single penny of this auction goes to the proceeds being raised for a special rabbit. Chance. Chance was rescued from the local humane society two weeks ago after being found wandering a local neighborhood. Chance was covered in matts to the skin, urine scald on his legs, and he was completely stiff in urine -- even in his ears. Since being found, Chance has been in and out of the vet every few days. Due to his neglect, he's in kidney failure, and his kidney's are filled with sand sludge and kidney stones.
Despite several medications and treatments, Chance is only getting worse. Chance is now losing his appetite, lethargic and is urinating blood. The vet needs us to go to the Louisiana State University veterinarian school, as they are one of the top in the nation for exotic animals. However, Chance's treatment is going to cost more than what can be afforded as the clinic is extremely expensive. Chance's health is growing extremely poor and we are trying everything we can to raise enough money to get him the help he needs. If not, the vet said the only option left is euthanasia, which is just days away.

Once again, every single penny of this auction goes to Chance's fund for getting him to the LSU Vet Clinic. Time is of the essence. Go to Ebay and and search "Chance the special rabbit" and you will find the photos up for bid. Thank you.
