RANDOM NOTES

This will be the final weekend for Fall show season in the tri-state area. Tomorrow and Sunday the fairgrounds in Medina, Ohio will be filled with competitive bunnies. It certainly should be the place to go if you are looking for good breeding stock at great prices since it is the last show of the year.

News has been trickling in from the National Convention in Texas. Kevin Hooper won Best in Show with a Dutch. The youth BIS was claimed by a Havana, but I don't have the name of the breeder. One of the youth breeders from Ohio, who has had many of her rabbits photos posted here on the Gazette, Hannah Means, won Best of Breed Youth and Best Opposite Sex Youth for her English Spots. The chocolate Dwarf Hotots passed their presentation, but the Tort Lionheads failed. The torts will try again in Michigan next year. I haven't gotten any news on the Mini Satin presentations yet.

I was invited to write a short article for the PA Rabbit Breeders Associations next newsletter on Jessie Kubick bringing the rare Enderby Island rabbits to PA. So if you are a PASRBA member, keep an eye out for that. Have a great weekend!!
